Montgomery Lab

Montgomery Lab Our lab studies how small non-coding RNAs regulate gene expression. The lab is just getting started so now's the time to join!

We use a combination of genomics, bioinformatics, genetics, and molecular biology to study mechanisms of gene regulation. Small non-coding RNAs, including miRNAs, piRNAs, and siRNAs, regulate gene expression and act as an adaptive immune system for viruses and transposons. Defects in small RNA pathways are associated with multiple diseases, including cancer and heart disease. To learn more about o

ur research on small RNAs and to access our publications, go to http://www.biology.colostate.edu/people/tmontgom/
