The Keiser University community remembers alumna Ilyana Teresa Perez, whose life was marked by compassion, resilience, and a deep desire to help others.

After becoming a mother, Ilyana enrolled at Keiser University and pursued her passion for healthcare while navigating an extraordinary health journey. She earned her Associate degree in Medical Assisting in 2021, demonstrating incredible strength and determination throughout her time as a student.

Above all, Ilyana was a devoted mother to her daughters, Freya and Elena, and a source of love and light to those around her. Her strength, compassion, and resilience will continue to live on through her family and the many lives she touched.

Our deepest condolences go to Ilyana’s family, friends, and loved ones. We are honored to remember her as part of the Keiser University alumni family.

Keiser University Miami Radiologic Technology students recently had the opportunity to learn from Raul Marquez, a proud two-time Keiser University graduate in Radiologic Technology and Biomedical Sciences.

Raul shared his career journey and pathway toward becoming a Radiologist Assistant (RA) as he works toward completing his master’s degree. Students also heard from Ralph Bernal, Radiologist Assistant with Baptist Health, who provided firsthand insight into the profession and career opportunities in the field.

We’re grateful to Raul and Ralph for sharing their experiences and guidance with our students. It’s especially meaningful to see a Keiser alumnus return to inspire the next generation of Seahawks. 💙💛

Celebrating 50 years of Keiser University and a legacy built together. 💙

As we mark this milestone, we’re honored to receive special recognition from U.S. Senator Rick Scott following Keiser University’s inclusion on the South Florida Business Journal’s list of South Florida’s Largest Employers.

This recognition celebrates the collective dedication of our students, faculty, staff, alumni, and leadership who have helped shape our institution over the past five decades.

We’re proud of where we’ve been, grateful for where we are, and excited for what’s ahead.
