Whether you're grabbing a quick snack between classes or sitting down for a full meal, Fin's Landing has something for everyone. With spacious seating and a modern, inviting atmosphere, it's quickly becoming the place for Sharks to refuel, recharge, and connect.

Jose Agurto spent 15 years in the U.S. Marine Corps, and years after struggling to talk about what he'd seen. Traditional therapy didn't stick. What finally helped? A racing simulator. 🏎️

NSU's College of Psychology has partnered with The Veterans Trust to launch a program that uses motorsports to teach veterans real stress-management skills. Wearing sensors that track heart rate and breathing, instructors coach participants through breathing techniques as the pressure builds. The goal: recognize the early signs of fight-or-flight and learn to calm down before reacting, both on the track and off.

The program has already helped 25 veterans, with a waitlist of 30 more, and has been featured in the Sun Sentinel, Miami Herald, and more.

Why are shark sightings on the rise this summer? NBC News wanted the real answer, so they came to the home of the Sharks to get it. 🦈

Mahmood Shivji, Ph.D., director of NSU's Save Our Seas Foundation Shark Research Center and Guy Harvey Research Institute, talked with NBC News to explain why juvenile white shark sightings have been on the rise, breaking down the surprising role El Niño plays in it all.

At just 16 years old, Arman Gasparyan left Armenia to begin a new life in the United States. Like many international students, he was stepping into the unknown.

At Nova Southeastern University, he found more than a world class education. He found mentors who believed in him, friends who became family, and opportunities that helped him grow into a confident leader.

As a senior in NSU's Dual Admission Program studying computer science and mathematics, Arman earned a Student Life Achievement Award and is now preparing for a future in technology and graduate school.

"NSU taught me and showed me that if I put in the effort, I will succeed."

Nova Southeastern University is proud to welcome its inaugural class of anesthesiologist assistant students at our brand-new campus in Henderson, Nevada, the first program of its kind in the state. Watch the moments that made this milestone so special, from the ribbon cutting and campus tour to the White Coat Ceremony where 26 students took their first official step into a career in healthcare.

Nevada's patients, communities, and healthcare system are better for it. We could not be more excited for what comes next.

When NSU marine science student Kyle Pisano noticed parrotfish were eating coral transplanted onto Florida's Coral Reef by NSU researchers, he did not just identify it. He built a solution. 🪸

Kyle developed a biodegradable technology to protect transplanted corals from predation and has since co-founded Reef Fortify, Inc. to file a patent on the innovation. And he is doing this while managing NSU's onshore coral reef nursery and pursuing his doctorate in marine biology.

We are so proud that, at NSU, students do not just study the problems facing our ocean. They work to solve them.
