This past Friday, our College gathered at Arthrex for our annual retreat, marking the start of another exciting academic year at Florida Gulf Coast University.
The retreat continues to be a valuable opportunity to welcome our newest faculty and staff, hear updates on the state of the College from our Dean, celebrate faculty scholarship projects supported through our micro-grant program, recognize recipients of the Marieb Excellence Awards, and gain insights from University leadership on priorities and opportunities for the year ahead.
This year, we were also excited to feature a new interactive scholarship networking activity led by Dr. Daniel Credeur, our new Arthrex Director of Research and Career Readiness. The session fostered meaningful connections and highlighted opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration across the College.
We would like to extend our congratulations to all of this year's Marieb Excellence Awards recipients. Your dedication, leadership, and service continue to make a lasting impact on our College community.
Finally, thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the retreat program. Your engagement, enthusiasm, and commitment helped make this year's retreat a meaningful and successful kickoff to the academic year. We look forward to another year of collaboration, scholarship, and excellence.
