WVU Alumni Fort Myers Chapter, INC was established as a 501(c)3 non profit organization in Fort Myers, FL in 2019 by alumni of West Virginia University living in Fort Myers. The goal of the WVU Alumni Fort Myers Chapter, INC is to create a connection and community for people who love West Virginia University in the greater Fort Myers, FL area. Membership is not required and one does not need to be

an alumni of the university to participate in any events. The chapter hosts many social events, such as football and basketball game watches, beach days, and group outings to local sporting events such as Everblades Hockey and Mighty Mussels baseball games. We also complete a number of service projects each year to help support the communities that we live in such as our annual "Christmas for Foster Kids" event, community clean - ups, and raising funds to support those affected by natural disaster. In addition to our commitment to community service, WVU Alumni Fort Myers Chapter, INC's is committed to endowing a scholarship to send a local student to our beloved West Virginia University.
