Hands-on training for OTC’s Plumbing Program at the OTC North Campus in Crestview!

Students will build practical skills in pipe cutting, joining, layout, installation, construction documents, and building codes for the pipe trades.

First Clinical Day! 🎉🩺

A big milestone for our first class of LPN-to-RN students at OTC! On Friday, our students completed their first clinical experience at HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital and North Okaloosa Medical Center.

We’re excited to offer this work/school balance program that gives working LPNs the opportunity to advance their careers while continuing to work.

We’re proud of this first cohort and can’t wait to see where their hard work takes them! 👏🎓💙

The flex room, welding, and automotive spaces are currently in development as Okaloosa Technical College prepares to bring more hands-on trade school opportunities to north Okaloosa County.

Daytime courses planned for the OTC North Campus include Computer System Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Master Automotive Service Technology, Plumbing, Welding Technology, and Advanced Welding Technology.

A look back at our Marine students training hands-on at OTC!

Students gained experience maintaining, repairing, troubleshooting, removing, and reinstalling marine engines and related equipment used on leisure boats and commercial crafts.

Through classroom and practical training, students worked with outboard motors, engine systems, boat accessories, rigging, and industry tools while building skills for careers in the marine field.
