Today, our Master Gardeners gave our students a hands on lesson all about seeds!🌿

Our students learned about different types of seeds, where they come from, how they grow, and what they need to thrive. They even had the opportunity to get up close and explore seeds for themselves!

We love seeing our students learn through hands-on experiences and connecting what they learn in the classroom to the world around them. 🌎

A huge thankyou to our amazing Master Gardeners for continuing to share their knowledge and helping our students grow. Both in the garden and beyond! 🌱

Our Okaloosa Up students are learning that good communication is about so much more than just talking—it’s about listening, expressing yourself clearly, understanding others, and knowing how to respond in different situations.
In the classroom, our students are putting these skills into practice through role-playing activities, giving them a chance to work through real-life situations in a fun and supportive environment. 🎭
These communication skills are important not only in the workplace, where clear communication helps build strong relationships with coworkers, supervisors, and customers, but also in their personal lives as they navigate friendships, family relationships, and everyday situations.
We love watching our students gain confidence, practice new skills, and discover that what they learn in the classroom can make a difference at work, at home, and everywhere in between! ❤️

🌱 Growing Knowledge in the Garden! 🌱

This week our Master Gardeners joined us in the garden to help collect soil samples to send off for testing. Their continued support gives our students valuable opportunities to learn about gardening through hands-on experiences.

Soil testing helps us understand the health and nutrient levels of our soil, allowing us to make informed decisions about how to care for our garden and help our plants thrive. Our students are learning that a successful garden takes knowledge, care, and teamwork! 🌿
