Dental Technology, Dental Assisting, and Dental Hygiene students came together for a team-building in-service on Thursday.

Students practiced time management and learned about the importance of communication and student success. They explored campus resources through a scavenger hunt, enjoyed pizza, and even participated in a rock-paper-scissors competition.

We look forward to a great semester and wish all our students success!

We’re excited to launch the IU Fort Wayne Called to Care Essay Invitational!

If you’re a high school senior who feels called to make a difference in the lives of others, this is your opportunity to share your story. Submit a written or video essay about why you’re called to care, and you could earn a scholarship to attend IU Fort Wayne.

10 students will receive scholarships ranging from $1,000–$8,000 per year.

35 Dental Technology students joined us for orientation yesterday! We’re excited to welcome them, along with a few more upperclassmen, on August 24 as we officially kick off the school year. We are looking forward to another year of growth!

Yesterday, IUFW’s Dental Technology, Dental Assisting, and Dental Hygiene programs welcomed Kids College students for hands-on fun! 🦷✨
Rising 6th, 7th, and 8th graders learned about plaque and proper oral hygiene before putting their skills to the test in a toothbrushing relay race. They also explored color theory with watercolor paints, experimenting with blending and complementary colors.
After an afternoon full of learning, laughter, and tooth-themed temporary tattoos, we may have inspired a few future dental professionals!

Middle schoolers this week are learning through an Indiana University Fort Wayne program what it might be like to pursue a career in healthcare.

🎓 TODAY, Alma Brito graduates with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Technology! After graduation, Alma plans to continue working in the dental laboratory field while advancing her skills in digital dentistry and restorative work. She also hopes to pursue her RG and CDT certifications to continue growing professionally and expanding her expertise in dental technology.
