Last week, we welcomed an incredible group of middle school students to Kid's College, where they explored exciting careers in healthcare through hands-on activities, interactive labs, and mentorship from our faculty, staff, and community partners.

From discovering what it's like to work in nursing, medical imaging, dental education, social work, and more, these campers gained a firsthand look at the many ways they can make a difference in their communities through health.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this year's Kid's College a success!

"Overdose awareness is a skill that should be normalized."

In the latest op-ed for the Journal Gazette, Cris Henderson, Clinical Assistant Professor at IU, shares why overdose education and prevention are essential to building healthier communities. Her message highlights the power of knowledge, compassion, and action in saving lives.

At IU Fort Wayne, our faculty are leading important conversations that prepare future health professionals to make a meaningful impact right here in Northeast Indiana and beyond.
