Tomorrow's workforce is already learning, creating, and preparing at TCC.

Tarrant County's economy depends on a strong pipeline of skilled talent, and Tarrant County College is helping build it.

Across TCC, students are preparing for careers in healthcare, aerospace, automotive technology, information technology, public safety, education, radio/TV/film, construction, and many other fields.

The Pathways to Success Showcase will give employers and community partners an opportunity to see that talent firsthand through interactive demonstrations led by TCC students and faculty.

For employers, it is a chance to discover future talent. For students, it is a chance to connect learning with opportunity. For our community, it is an investment in the workforce that will keep Tarrant County moving forward.

From the classroom to a career in healthcare.

For Cayman Grigg, TCC was always part of the plan, but financial support helped make completing that plan possible.

The Oak Crest Woman's Club Scholarship helped Cayman continue developing his skills as a nursing student. By graduation, he had accepted a position with the Medical City network and was prepared to begin his nursing career.

That is what a pathway to success can look like: education, support, and opportunity coming together to prepare a student for a meaningful career.

At the Pathways to Success Showcase, guests will meet students and faculty from programs across TCC and see how those pathways are preparing talent for our region.

Strong communities are built through strong partnerships.

Across Tarrant County, businesses, nonprofit organizations, civic leaders, donors, and education partners work alongside TCC to expand opportunities for students and respond to the needs of a growing region.

Recent partnerships supported through the TCC Foundation include the Scott Simmons Endowed Scholarship for Construction Management Technology students and the Autobahn Fort Worth Scholarship for Automotive Technology students. The Foundation has also supported industry engagement in areas such as Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management.

The Pathways to Success Showcase is another opportunity to strengthen those connections. Industry and community partners can experience TCC programs firsthand, meet students developing in-demand skills, and explore how collaboration can create lasting impact.

When education and community come together, opportunity grows.

It is never too late to take the next step.

Patricia Mansilla first attended TCC in 2007 but did not complete her degree. In 2023, she returned with a renewed purpose: creating a better future for herself and her children.

With encouragement from the TCC community and support from the A.D. Marshall Memorial Scholarship, Patricia completed her education and began pursuing a career as a probation officer.

By returning to college and completing what she started, Patricia also showed her sons that they can pursue their goals.

Stories like Patricia's are at the heart of the Pathways to Success Showcase. Join us as we celebrate the students whose determination, and the community that supports them, are creating better futures throughout Tarrant County.

When TCC students succeed, Tarrant County succeeds.

Tarrant County College's impact reaches far beyond the classroom.

According to TCC's independent economic impact study, TCC generates approximately $2.3 billion in added income for Tarrant County and supports 27,929 jobs across the county. TCC alumni alone account for approximately $1.8 billion in added county income.

Those numbers represent people building careers, employers finding skilled talent, families gaining greater opportunity, and communities growing stronger.

The Pathways to Success Showcase will bring that impact to life by connecting TCC students and programs with donors, businesses, industries, and community partners helping shape our region's future. Come experience the impact firsthand.

Student success begins with opportunity and with someone believing in what is possible.

When Marie Claude-Mutomb came to Tarrant County College, she was looking for more than a place to continue her education. She was looking for a community.

At TCC, Marie found that sense of belonging, became involved in Phi Theta Kappa, and grew in confidence. Support from the Dr. Larry Darlage Scholarship helped reinforce that she was exactly where she needed to be.

Marie continued her education at Baylor University with plans to pursue pre-med and eventually attend medical school. Her story is one example of how access, encouragement, and donor support can help students take bold steps toward their futures.

At the Pathways to Success Showcase, we will celebrate students like Marie and the opportunities made possible when education and community support come together.
