The 2025–2026 McNair Research Journal is here! 🎉 Take a look at the incredible research being conducted by scholars in our program at TCU.

This year’s theme, “Through a New Lens: Uncovering Patterns Across Society, Science, and the Human Experience,” represents the fresh perspectives our scholars bring to their research. Their work challenges us to look at familiar questions in new ways while highlighting the ideas and discoveries that can shape the research of tomorrow.

Last week, some of our McNair Scholars had the incredible opportunity to travel to UCLA for the UCLA Annual McNair Scholars Conference! Throughout the conference, our scholars presented their research, and connected with fellow McNair scholars from across the country, while building lasting professional networks. They also had the chance to tour USC & UCLA campuses, gain valuable insights into graduate education, and celebrate the hard work they’ve dedicated to their research. We’re so proud of how they represented TCU 💜

Yesterday, our SRE scholars proudly presented the incredible research they have worked so hard on throughout the summer. We couldn’t be more proud of everything they accomplished over the past several weeks.

A heartfelt thank you to our faculty mentors, family members, supporters, and everyone who came out to celebrate and encourage our scholars. Your support means the world and helps make this experience so meaningful.

🎓✨ That’s a wrap on our 4th Annual Graduate School Bootcamp! Last week, students from OSU, McMurry, JCSU, ACU, CU Denver, XULA, ECU, NEIU AND TCU connected with graduate programs, explored funding opportunities, crafted their personal statements, toured the TCU campus, and experienced the vibrant culture of Fort Worth at our local Stockyards! A huge thank you to all of the graduate programs that participated in this year’s Graduate School Fair and to our returning guest speaker, Dr. Justin Grimes, for sharing his expertise and inspiring the next generation of scholars.
