We just delivered 8.5 lbs of lettuce and basil from our hydroponic farms as well as 1 lb of fresh produce from the Community Garden to the newly reopened Student Food Pantry! We donate fresh produce each Wednesday. The new space is amazing! Congratulations to UNT Health Student Affairs 🎉

Next week the Student Food Pantry reopens in the Library, and we are excited to start making our hydroponic greens available for our students! Sustainability purchased two of these units this summer and plan to have greens, herbs, and some fruiting plants available in a weekly basis to supplement our Community Garden's harvest.

Something new has arrived on campus! Although it may look like a spaceship, it is actually a hydroponic tower for growing fresh produce on campus! We'll share more as it grows and develops 🌞

📢 Students - the UNT Health Community Garden is continuing harvests to the Student Food Pantry every Wednesday by 10am. This morning, we had quite the variety! The pantry is currently located on the first floor in the SSC. Enjoy!
