We here at The RLEI are so incredibly proud of Energy MBA candidate Martha Santos. Not only is she an incredible asset to the Institute, she is a proud graduate of the TCU Ranch Management Program and a wonderful ambassador for all things TCU.

The Ralph Lowe Energy Institute Team considers ourselves lucky to be under the leadership of Dean Pullin--an innovator, a risk-within-reason taker, an entrepreneur at heart, a believer in a longer-tables, diverse-voices approach to teammates and a champion of all things TCU – Texas Christian University. We often reference The DP Rule "Does it make it better? Then do it" when making decisions at The RLEI.
Congrats Daniel Pullin, well done and well deserved.

This moment from Saturday’s game, where Horned Frogs QB Max Duggan is stopped just short, seems like an ending.
Especially knowing what we know now, that TCU Football eventually lost The Big 12 Championship in OT.
The thing (and really it’s the best thing about college athletics) is you can’t lose if you don’t quit. That run by Duggan, that willingness to leave everything on the field, to never give up was cited by the committee when answering why TCU is in the playoff. It is partially why Duggan is headed to New York City as a Heisman finalist. And it very well may be why he wins on Saturday and TCU wins a National Championship.
So congrats Max on being a Heisman Trophy finalist. And thank you for reminding all of us at The Ralph Lowe Energy Institute to never give up on ourselves, our dreams, our teammates.

What happens when you cross a TCU legend and an Emmy winner…
…this is, in the sports radio world, what you call a tease.
The RLEI team is excited to share this “big energy” project with everybody soon. Until then,

As we wrap up a week of thankfulness, the TCU Energy Institute wanted to thank the many people working in every facet and form of energy for quite literally turning the lights on and making moments like this Saturday at The Amon possible.
Undefeated.
Under the lights.
Magic.

Good luck to Team Hypnotoads who are representing The RLEI in The Switch Energy Alliance Case Competition at the University of Texas at Austin. They tackled developing a 30-year plan for improving energy access and reliability for Ghana.
Great teamwork by Energy MBA candidate Jessica Carnes and MBA candidate Spencer Jones, TCU undergrads Luke Fravel and Patrick Ahearn, and mentor RLEI executive director Ann Bluntzer, PhD.

When we have conversations about the future of the energy industry, what we really are talking about are the students of today. They will lead this future.
The RLEI is incredibly lucky to have a board with members committed to this belief. They have done an amazing job during Texas Christian University's of stepping up and leading important conversations at TCU Neeley School of Business and YPE Dallas about energy security and balancing goals of carbon neutrality with economic reality and how to lead in a sustainable future.
Thank you to Christopher Paulsen, Vice President of Business Development and Strategy at Pioneer Natural Resources Company and to Lori Ryerkerk CEO of Celanese Corporation for being so generous with your time and talent and to John Di Donato National Vice President Renewable Development and Origination at NextEra Energy Resources who will be joining the panel at The Institute's "Energy Security Summit" in less than 24 hours.
An organization is only as good as its best players and, well, our best are the absolute best.

If you are not following on Instagram, you are missing high-level learning opportunities, like becoming familiar with The Wonder Twins and being able to drop that reference in any conversation.
And we took over TCU Neeley Graduate Programs Insta this week () so Wonder Twins really activate.

You never forget your first--your first Star-Telegram sports column, your first ESPN Radio billboard, your first FoxSports 1 promo and now this.....my first TCU Neeley School of Business sign.
Look for these "Minor In Something Major" signs around campus starting next week AND take a selfie w/a sign and tag on Instagram to have a chance to win RLEI swag which is a good deal because
Or better yet stop by The Institute to learn why an energy minor is the real flex.

I have started settling into-glowing up my office at The RLEI, and I happened upon this bag of pins hiding in the bottom of a drawer.
Talk about OG RLEI.
