Texas Wesleyan's Career Services center is available for individual advising on a walk-in or appointment basis. We are pleased to offer services to students and alumni to help them acquire occupations with higher earning power, security, prestige and job satisfaction. Our office is open M-F 8-5 during Spring and Fall and M-Th 8-5 in Summer. If you would like to make an appointment to see one of the Career Counselors, please visit https://txwes.edu/career. Click on "request an appointment" and choose your desired time and date. Please be aware that your appointment is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation e-mail. Internship Opportunity for Students!

Looking for an internship this fall? Career Services is sharing an opportunity with the City of Fort Worth Office of the Police Oversight Monitor (OPOM).

The internship runs September 29 through December 18, 2026 and offers flexible scheduling with a commitment of approximately 12–15 hours per week.

The internship is unpaid, but may be eligible for dual credit or course credit where applicable.

Applications are open through August 31!

To apply: Submit your résumé to the email listed on the flyer. You can also include a brief statement of interest, although it is preferred and not required.

We’re looking for 2 TXWES students to join our team this fall. If you want to gain experience, build your skills, and get more involved on campus, one of these roles could be a great fit.

Career Services Student Assistant
Work with students, help with Career Services events, support appointments, and assist with office projects and outreach.

Marketing & Social Media Student Assistant
Get creative with social media, graphics, photos and videos while helping us promote events, jobs, internships, and other opportunities.

1 position available for each role!

Both positions are open to work-study and non-work-study students.
