Your gift. Their lifetime. đź’ś

Last week, a first year student sat down for their very first Bible study, nervous and unsure, but they stayed anyway. Can you imagine what might be different in their lifetime because of that first step?

Your generosity unlocks more and more opportunities for students to engage with Christ and know God's grace.

We had to share some exciting news with you...TCU Wesley just had our best Frogs First and Welcome Week yet!

Over the last 16 days, TCU Wesley made 12 events happen, by either participating in or leading 18% of the official Frogs First events and activities that welcomed the TCU Class of 2030 to campus. Each one created a space for connection and friendship, laying the foundation upon which students will build faith and community.

Between the 65 students who joined us in worship, 133 who gathered as we prayed over them, and 346 we met tabling and handing out treats across campus, nearly 450 individual students had a personal experience with TCU Wesley over the last two weeks. That's 15% of the first-year class met with a friendly face, a delicious meal, and the reminder that God is with them in this new season...and class has only been in session for one week!

We can't wait to share with you the stories of how God continues to shape the lives of these young adults as the year unfolds.

Thank you for being part of the TCU Wesley community and for caring about these students. The ripple effects of that are a number far beyond what we can calculate! đź’ś

Students are returning to campus and we're ready because of you.
Popsicles at tabling, milkshakes after the first day of class, cold drinks outside the BLUU, a full meal for the marching band, Dippin' Dots at our Welcome Home Event, every bit of it was funded before a single student arrived on campus.

That is love shown without an expectation of return, truly a sign of God's grace toward us.

What you really made possible is bigger than any one event. Your generosity gives a new student their first taste of faith lived out in community, a place where they're known by name and invited into a life of following Jesus that grows well beyond this one week.

Thank you for being the kind of people that makes this all possible!

This week we got a text from a student asking how he can help welcome others to campus and to Wesley this fall.

That kind of eagerness doesn't come from nowhere. It's sparked by people like you, donors whose generosity builds a culture where showing up for someone new isn't a chore, it's a joy that students actually want to be part of.

Your giving doesn't just fund events. It ignites students to extend gracious hospitality to incoming students who walk in not knowing anyone.

Your generosity extends God's prevenient grace to young adults in a tangible way.

Thanks to you, this year's back to school events are fully funded. If you'd like to keep fueling that spirit in young adults all year long, becoming a monthly host of The Home is a simple way to do it.

We’re in the thick of getting ready to welcome a new class of Horned Frog students and you still have time to be part of it! A gift of any size funds something real and meaningful: $100 covers cold drinks for Frogs First, $275 brings Dippin’ Dots to our Welcome Home to Wesley event. Small gifts have a real impact, right at the start of a student’s story here. Give towards our back to school efforts: https://www.tcuwesley.org/backtoschool

Between first year students and returning horned frogs, 13,000 young adults move to campus and surrounding Fort Worth areas, many of whom are stepping into a new phase of life without a single familiar face. Every August, TCU Wesley welcomes them home and last year over 250 were directly served through one of our welcome week events! Whether through a free lunch after Frog’s First worship, or by personal invitation outside of the dining hall while handing out popsicles, every point of connection makes a difference and we’re getting ready to do it all again. If you, your church, small group, or family would like to set the table, open the door, and be part of welcoming the Class of 2030 home, here’s where to start! https://www.tcuwesley.org/backtoschool

Meet Theda Leeka and Juan Najera, two TCU Wesley students who are serving as first time summer camp counselors for young disciples at Camp Gilmont in Gilmer, TX this year. Having been encouraged to apply for the season by their good Wesley friends, these students have had a summer of meaningful encounters, getting to see God work in new ways. We're so grateful for all of the doors opened and adventures sought because of connections made at TCU Wesley!

This fall, TCU Wesley is getting ready to welcome one of their largest incoming classes, which means more students than ever walking onto campus without a single familiar face yet.

We want to be ready for them. Would you be part of it?

The most meaningful way to help is to join The Home, our monthly giving community. It's a steady way to walk with students all year, not just for one week.

Prefer to give toward this specific season? A one-time Welcome Week gift goes a long way too! You’ll see suggested amounts below, and exactly what each one makes possible.

$25 - Popsicles during tabling events
$75 - Dutch's Milkshakes after the 1st day of class
$100 - Cold drinks for Frogs First outside the BLUU
$250 - Feed first-year students after Frogs First Worship
$275 - Dippin' Dots for our Welcome Home Event
$525 - Feed the Horned Frog Marching Band during summer band

Check it all out at www.tcuwesley.org/backtoschool
