As TCU Football heads to Ireland for the 2026 Aer Lingus College Football Classic, TCU – Texas Christian University students are bringing business strategy into the global sports arena.

A team of TCU Neeley and TCU - John V. Roach Honors College students are headed to Ireland to compete in a business case competition focused on sports diplomacy.

The team will share recommendations to city leaders, government agencies and businesses as Ireland prepares to host two major international sporting events: the Ryder Cup in 2027 and UEFA Euro in 2028.

Drew Atiyeh, Ana Isabella Bueso Romero, Sophia May and Mark Centeno have spent tens of hours partnering with The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill students over the past month, applying classroom insight to real-world opportunities at the intersection of business, tourism and economic development.

The economic impact of a major airline hub extends far beyond flights, terminals and travelers.

A new study from the TCU Center for Supply Chain Innovation examines American Airlines' broader influence across North Texas.

Led by Travis Tokar, professor of supply chain management, the independent analysis began through a project-based supply chain capstone course before expanding into a broader applied research effort through the center.

For TCU Neeley, the study highlights the value of connecting academic expertise and industry to advance applied research around the complex challenges shaping business.

🏎️ Everybody’s like zoom…

As part of the full-time MBA onboarding experience, our new cohort synced up for a team dynamics exercise that put their communication and relationship-building skills to the test.

During the Pit Crew Challenge, students worked together like a professional pit crew, changing tires and fine-tuning a real NASCAR. The high-octane experience challenged students to communicate clearly, build trust and rely on the power of collective effort.

More than a friendly competition, the experience created opportunities to forge new relationships while demonstrating how synchronized teams perform under pressure.

Whether on the track or in the boardroom, every second counts, every role matters and great teams make the difference.

Welcome to Neeley. Start your engines. 🏁
