Artist Files is a new project created by Erica Santiago, Artistic Director of the Austin-based Shakti Moves Dance Co and BFA Ballet & Modern Dance, 2002. Designed to be a mentored experience for emerging and mid-career dancemakers, the Artist Files Project is also a model for engaging audiences to contribute to process such that they are invested, on a personal level, in the final production. In this first edition of Artist Files, Erica is working with mentor Susan Douglas Roberts, Professor Emerita in Classical & Contemporary Dance and choreographer Hannah (Ernest) Requa, BFA Ballet and Modern Dance, 2011, is mentored by Elizabeth Gillaspy, Professor of Dance. If you are in Austin, or surrounding area, please attend this second stage showing!
