Our EMBA students got an up-close look at the Panama Canal’s Miraflores Locks, gaining a deeper understanding of the operations behind one of the world’s most important trade routes and its impact on global supply chains.

We also had the opportunity to visit Caterpillar’s regional headquarters, exploring how a Fortune 100 company integrates strategic operations across Latin America and the Caribbean. From advanced logistics and financial services to technology-driven solutions, students saw how business leaders are evolving beyond traditional product sales to deliver greater value through services and innovation.

Our EMBA students kicked off their Panama trip exploring the country’s rich history at Panama Viejo and Casco Viejo, gaining economic insights from Glenn Tjon, discovering the business of art at MODART, and experiencing the value chain behind the world-renowned Geisha coffee.
