Parkinson’s disease is about more than movement. 🧠

During this fall's Zoota Family Leaders in Parkinson's Disease Speaker Series, Dr. Greg Pontone, professor and the Louis and Roberta Fizel Endowed Chair at the University of Florida, shared insights from more than 25 years in the Parkinson’s field, exploring the cognitive, emotional and behavioral symptoms that can accompany the disease.

Endowed funds from the Eleanor and Murray Zoota Endowed Professorship in Neurodegenerative Research were used to support this speaker series.

Can you really dry your hands with just one paper towel? 🧼

Martha Stewart turned to our Don Thushara Galbadage, associate professor in health sciences & public health, for expert insight on how to effectively dry your hands while reducing waste. 🗑️

His advice? Proper hand-drying is essential to preventing the spread of germs, and reducing waste should never be sacrificed in the name of good hygiene.

Dean Bernard Rousseau hosted a Shark Tank-style research presentation event with Dr. Stephen Camarata from Vanderbilt University as the guest shark.
