Sisterhood is more than standing together. It is showing up, supporting meaningful causes, and honoring the women whose courage creates a lasting legacy.

President Florastine Mack and members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Beta Mu Omega Chapter proudly supported the centennial celebration honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Opal Lee. The beloved “Grandmother of Juneteenth,” alongside former First Lady Michelle Obama in Fort Worth, Texas.

This special celebration brought together community leaders and supporters to honor Dr. Lee’s 100th birthday while raising support for the National Juneteenth Museum.

Our presence reflects the power of sisterhood in action while, championing history, preserving our stories, uplifting our communities, and investing in a legacy that will inspire generations to come.

🩷💚 Walk with us in community, remembrance, and hope!

The Beta Mu Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® invites you to join us for Walk a Mile in Her Shoes: Breast Cancer Awareness Walk, a community event focused on breast cancer awareness, support, and hope.

🏆Bring your family and friends and join us as we walk one mile together to raise breast cancer awareness, encourage those currently on the journey, celebrate survivors, and remember those whose lives and legacies continue to inspire us.

🩷 Hope Wall of Honor
Participants will have an opportunity to add the name of someone they love to our special "Hope Wall of Honor." We will recognize those who are currently in the fight, celebrate survivors, and lovingly honor the memory of those whose courageous journeys continue to inspire us.

🏆Everyone is welcome! Come walk with us as we stand together in awareness, support, remembrance, and hope.

This special morning will also serve as a Membership Reactivation Event, extending a warm invitation to members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® who are seeking an opportunity to reconnect and re-engage with the sisterhood.

This is an awareness event, not a fundraiser. We walk to educate, encourage, support, and raise breast cancer awareness.
