As Pride Month begins, we proudly uplift the voices of the LGBTQIA+ community and reaffirm our support for equality, dignity, and love for all. We believe everyone has the right to love who they love, every day of the year.

This reminds us that love knows no boundaries. It calls us to honor every individual’s right to be treated with kindness and respect, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.

Since 1920, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated has been committed to addressing the pressing issues of each era. For more than 106 years, we have stood as a voice for the underserved and a champion for marginalized communities.

This month and beyond, we commit to listening, learning, and leaning in. We invite you to join us in growing as allies, promoting inclusion, and celebrating the strength and brilliance of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Beta Alpha Sigma Zeta Chapter was honored to celebrate excellence, leadership, and academic achievement at our Scholarship Brunch in support of graduating seniors from the Frederick County Public High School community!

Congratulations to our 2026 scholarship recipients:
Ben of Urbana High School
Josie of Walkersville High School

Each student was awarded a $2,000 scholarship to support their collegiate journey as they prepare to attend universities right here in Maryland.

Selecting our recipients was no easy task. We received applications from many outstanding young leaders whose accomplishments, service, and aspirations made the decision process incredibly difficult. Nevertheless, we are confident in our selections and excited to see all that Ben and Josie will accomplish in this next chapter.

We thank all of the students who applied and wish our scholarship awardees continued success as they transition into college life and pursue their dreams!
