Last Thursday, UMW Music had the pleasure of hosting a South Indian classical recital featuring Sri Vignesh Ishwar (vocals), Sayee Raksh*th (violin), Praveen Sparsh (mridangam), Chandrasekara Sharma (ghatam), and Vijay Ganesh (mridangam). Their virtuosic musicianship was stunning and inspiring!

This free clinic is for anyone and everyone even with no bass experience!

Join us Monday September 28 at 7pm in the HCC Digital Auditorium to learn from Bakithi Kumalo, a legendary bassist who assisted Paul Simon in winning a Grammy for “Graceland”.

Adjunct Professor Brittany Frompovich will be opening the clinic. This will be an exciting event filled with music, stories, and lots of learning!
