Upon his arrival at Midland University in the fall of 2025, Parker Clausen said he didn’t feel like a normal transfer student. In fact, he didn’t feel like a transfer student at all.

“Honestly, it felt like I had already been at Midland for two years. People already knew my name, and I knew people across campus. I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else.”

In her first semester at Midland University, Vyvian Alstrom knew she wanted to step out of her comfort zone.

She spent the first three semesters of her college career at Southeast Community College, but never really felt like she was embracing the full college experience. She wanted that to change when she arrived at Midland in January of 2026.

Carla Cencerrero Gallego loves basketball so much that she was willing to travel thousands of miles from her native Spain to continue her career.

Her travels took her to Florida and New Jersey before she eventually settled in Nebraska at Midland University.

Our final Summer Intern Spotlight shines bright on Eli Boryca!🌟 Eli is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Agribusiness at Midland University. 💙🧡

Joining us in the Spring, Eli gained hands-on experience in credit analysis and agricultural renewals under the mentorship🤝 of AVP-Loan Officer, Garrett Schwanke and Credit Analyst, Brooke Hellerich. He extended his internship with us through the summer, shifting his focus to commercial lending alongside VP-Loan Operations, Stacy Gibney and Credit Analyst, Kyle Kennebeck while gaining valuable insight into the lending process!

Eli quickly became a part of our community and culture here at RVR Bank! Thank you, Eli, for your dedication and hard work during your time with us!🙌🎉

Midland University Future Business Leaders of America-Collegiate (FBLA-C) students brought home numerous top honors from the National Leadership Conference, June 6-8 in Las Vegas, Nevada. 🏆💼

The National Leadership Conference features more than 30 different categories for students to compete in. FBLA-C competitive events recognize and reward those students in a broad range of business and career-related areas. They also prepare students for successful careers in business by providing opportunities to apply classroom concepts in a workforce-simulated competitive environment and receive feedback from business professionals.
