You can earn career valuable academic Certificates using your elective credits, which is an excellent way to enhance your resume and open doors to additional employment opportunities in your field.

We offer certificates in the following areas:

- Adventure-Based Programming
- Correctional Recreation Programming
- Serving Youth at Risk
- Special Event Planning
- Sport and Entertainment Facility Management (SEFM)

To complete a certificate, students must be concurrently enrolled in RA 115. This course provides 75 hours of hands-on, onsite practical experience with an agency of your choice that aligns with your selected certificate program, such as the SEFM certificate. You can enroll in RA 115 alongside any certificate-related courses, such as RA 150, in which you are enrolled.

Transform obstacles into opportunities! Join our ra 106 - Challenge Course Facilitation class and embark on a journey of leadership, teamwork, and personal growth.

This class meets three Fridays and three Saturdays during the semester. What a fun way to earn 3 units!
