🌟 Food Giveaway Recap & Update! 🌟
Because of the overwhelming support from the members of the Iota Omicron Omega Chapter, the brothers of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., the Pastor, Deacon Scott, and members of Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, and our amazing community volunteers — we successfully unloaded, packed, and began distributing food by 1:00 PM today!

We operated two stations: 🚗 Drive-up and 🚶🏾 Walk-up, and in addition to food, we gave away handmade scarves and hats generously donated by a community friend.

💚 ALL food was distributed today.
📣 Please note: There will be no distribution on Saturday, October 18th.

Thank you to all who showed up, served, and shared the spirit of giving. 💕💚

This past weekend, members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and Iota Omicron Omega Chapter had the pleasure of attending the Jack and Jill Carole Robertson Day Picnic! 💕💚

Carole Robertson, 14 was killed in the 1963 Birmingham church bombing as she was preparing to march with other youth for civil rights. She was a bright, compassionate, and accomplished young girl who was an avid reader, straight-A student, and proud member of Jack and Jill of America. Carole was also active in the Girl Scouts, her school’s marching band, science club, and choir. Her light continues to inspire generations.

We are proud to honor her legacy and to stand in sisterhood and community with our Jack and Jill families. 💐✊🏽
