VIOLET SPOTLIGHT🦁💜
Hi everyone! My name is Amya Howard, and I’m proudly representing SAE as their 2026 Violet. I’m a Fall ’23 member of Kappa Kappa Gamma and a third year Media, Communications, and Journalism major with an emphasis in Advertising & Public Relations.
These last few years with brothers of SAE have been nothing short of unforgettable and I have yet to meet a group of men as amazing as them. From the very first day I stepped into the house, they made me feel genuinely welcome and have truly helped shape me into a better person. From joining the best fam and gaining the most amazing littles, to dominating in philos (especially flag football), countless McDonald’s runs, long nights in Tahoe, and movie nights in Minerva’s - I’ve loved every single memory made within the four walls of this house. These men have truly become my second family. Because of them, I’ll probably be 90 years old asking my grandkids if they know who Shmear is.
To the TGs — you’ve honestly become one of my favorite parts of college. Thank you for letting me be part of the best chapter on the mall. From figuring out what we’re bringing to the umbrella party to throwing the best Monday night balcony parties, you’ve all grown so much since my freshman days. I’m so grateful to have watched you stay true to your values through it all. I love you guys!
