ICYMI: Deadline to Request Kanopy Videos is September 4, 2026

Please submit all requests for Kanopy streaming videos for the fall 2026 semester by Friday, September 4. This deadline applies only to Kanopy films. To suggest a Kanopy film for the Library:

Go to Kanopy.
Log in with your Fresno State credentials.
Search for the title and/or director.

If Kanopy offers the film and we have not yet licensed that title, a request form will appear in Kanopy for you to complete. If the film does not appear, then Kanopy does not offer that title. If you have requested films in the past, the licenses may have expired or be near their expiration. Please request the films again or double-check with us – Darren Atwood or Marianne Foley - in the library.

If you realize that you need a film after the deadline, you will need to purchase a Kanopy license with your professional development or department funds.

Fresno State Library’s Special Collections Research Center was awarded a $126,000 grant from the California State Library to expand the Central Valley Rainbow Archives. The grant will support the preservation of late activist Jeffery Robinson’s collection of Central Valley-related historical LGBTQ2+ materials.
