Just a friendly reminder to please be mindful of others as you enjoy the Reference Room, West Wing, and other spaces.

Everyone on campus needs to be able to use the campus library safely, so (although it may be tempting!) please do not sit or sleep on the floors—or between library shelves.

Doing so can create potential trip hazards for other people, create obstacles for wheelchair users, and unnecessarily limit others' access to library materials.

If you need a comfortable place to rest or study, we suggest checking out our new furniture in the Periodicals & Reserve Room or West Wing!

Thanks for helping keep FCC Library enjoyable for everyone!

Does the Children's Area at the FCC Library look a little different? That's because we've expanded it! We worked hard this summer to make space for quiet play and add seating for littles and adults alike!
We'd like to thank Valley Remnants and Rolls Flooring (VRR) and the Friends of the Fresno City College Library for the cozy rugs, and the Child Development Center for the light table and front-facing bookshelf.
We look forward to seeing you!

Happy Friday, Rams! It’s time for another Friday Flashback. For years, the “Ramburger Roundup” was FCC’s first major social event of the school year. Faculty members prepared a BBQ meal of “Ramburgers,” macaroni salad, pork and beans, coffee, soft drinks, and ice cream. The event also featured live music and students typically headed over to Ratcliffe Stadium to watch the Ram’s football team's home opener later in the evening. We have photos of the inaugural event in 1959, the 1964 event (in color!), and the 1966 event, which drew a record at the time of 2,300 students. Swipe to view these “Ramburger Roundups”!
