In a message to the Frostburg campus community, the President of Frostburg State University has announced he will be stepping down from his position by the end of January 2025.

According to his email, the President is stepping down due to persistent medical challenges that have escalated in recent months. Despite hoping to overcome these difficulties and continue serving the university, he concluded that prioritizing his health and spending more time with his wife, Maureen, their son, Jake, and close family and friends is now essential. This decision followed extensive reflection and discussions with his family, Chief of Staff Al Delia, Chancellor Perman, and close friends.
