Valorie Curry ’09 is portraying her role as Firecracker in the fifth and final season of Amazon's superhero series The Boys. Prior to this role, she earned widespread recognition in the gaming community for her motion-capture and voice performance as Kara in the video game Detroit: Become Human. Her diverse career also highlights prominent roles in Fox's psychological thriller series The Following, Amazon's comedy The Tick, and the horror film Blair Witch. Nichole Gideon ’26 is an advocate for the unhoused who was named one of Orange County Register’s “125 Most Influential People in Orange County” in 2025. A single mother of two who previously experienced homelessness, she returned to college and graduated with honors, double majoring in sociology and philosophy. She serves on Orange County’s Continuum of Care board and the Lived Experience Advisory Committee, and she plans to attend law school and become a public law attorney.
