Introducing the inaugural Asian Pacific Excellence (APEX) Leadership Academy cohort!

On Monday, we hosted students and their supporters at the APEX Leadership Academy Welcome Banquet. We heard moving speeches from the APEX Program Analyst Meleca Consultado, APEX Faculty Fellow Dr. Ding-Jo Currie, and AVP Cecil Chik. Students received words of encouragement from the community written onto leaves and attached to their leis 🌺

Yesterday was orientation day where the students got to build community with eachother and learn more about the experience ahead of them.

The Asian Pacific Excellence (APEX) Program is accepting applications to its inaugural APEX Leadership Academy! Application closes July 27.

What to expect:
-Five monthly workshops starting in September
-Peer, faculty, and staff mentorship
-Local Cultural Immersion Tour
-Receive APEX Leadership Academy Certification
-Two-year commitment
-Cohort-based

This program is open and available to all who are interested in applying and/or participating, regardless of race, s*x, color, ethnicity, national origin, or any other protected status.
