Fullerton College students in the fashion department and Baile Folklorico club recently hosted an impactful fashion show paying homage to traditional regional Mexican dance, music and fashion.

A successful turnout, students walked the runway to highlight Mexican American diaspora fashion, social movements and culture. We love to see our students' visions come to life!

The Math and Computer Science Division team recently gathered faculty for the Math Literacy Project, an initiative designed to increase the capacity of math faculty and students to engage and thrive in a math setting with evidence-based practices to increase engagement, success and achievement.

The project included eight sessions with the team and resources to assist faculty as they work to transform their classrooms to be more inclusive, interactive and culturally responsive. Excellent work to our division team and Dean, Dr. Sam Foster for leading this effort!

Fullerton College recently welcomed the new Geospatial Technologies Certificate to its curriculum. Developed by Department of Geography Professors Joseph Diminutto and Aline Gregorio, this fully online certificate teaches students the core foundation of geospatial science with the focused goal of gaining a professional, competitive edge. 🌍

The Mindfulness Academic Program held its inaugural certificate ceremony, which honored 30 students who earned the program’s first-ever certificate! An incredible turnout, the event celebrated our students’ commitment to understanding oneself, cultivating emotional wellbeing and remaining grounded during uncertainty.

Last week, Fullerton College held its 69th annual students of distinction ceremony, the college’s most distinguished honor for student achievement. We celebrated the accomplishments of 20 graduating students, along with our faculty and classified employees of the year. 🎓🌟
