The College of Education is proud to support Cal State Fullerton’s Basic Needs Services and their urgent need for gently worn professional attire.

During Ed Week, October 19–23, we invite our COE community to help fellow Titans dress for success by donating professional clothing, including suits, blazers, dress shirts, dress pants, skirts, dresses and ties.

Our credential and graduate programs are built around flexibility, real-world impact, and a deep commitment to inclusive, equitable education. You'll learn from expert faculty, connect with a cohort of passionate peers, and complete hands-on clinical practice in partner school districts throughout greater Orange County.

Every child deserves an educator who sees their full potential — and CSUF's Department of Special Education is training the people who make that happen.

Our programs prepare Education Specialists to serve students from transitional kindergarten through age 22 with a wide range of learning, behavioral, and communication needs. Grounded in inclusive practices, evidence-based instruction, and culturally sustaining approaches, our graduates are equipped to make a meaningful difference from day one.

Programs include:

Our Single Subject Credential program is fully accredited by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing and spans two semesters of coursework and fieldwork — including student teaching in local public schools. You'll graduate ready to lead a classroom with confidence.

Subject areas include: Art, English, Mathematics, Music, Physical Education, Science (Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Physics), Social Science, Theater, and World Languages.

Dr. Fernando Rodríguez-Valls, Ph.D., Department Chair and Bilingual Authorization Program Coordinator in CSUF's Department of Secondary Education, shares:

CSUF's Department of Secondary Education prepares teachers for middle and high school classrooms through a fully accredited Single Subject Credential program. Working collaboratively with departments across campus, we train teachers in art, English, mathematics, music, physical education, science, social science, theater, and world languages.

The program spans two semesters of coursework and real-world fieldwork — including student teaching in local public schools — so you graduate ready to lead a classroom from day one.

As a fifth-grade teacher in Loara Elementary School's Spanish Dual Language Immersion Program, Wendy empowers students to embrace their identities, think creatively, and reach their full potential. Her passion for education and commitment to student success exemplify the impact of a Titan educator.
