Throughout the month, the North Atlantic Region will use our platform to raise awareness about domestic violence and its impact on Black women and families. Each Saturday, we’ll share facts, statistics, and important information to help educate our communities, recognize the signs, and keep this critical conversation going.
Awareness is a start. Let’s keep the conversation going.

Over the weekend, we took it BAcK to the BAsics! 💕✨

“Rebuilding with Intention” was the theme of our chapter retreat, and what an incredible two-day experience it was. From sisterhood and stewardship to worship and intention, we were reminded of the importance of slowing down, reconnecting, and being purposeful about what we’re building together.

We closed out our amazing weekend with Sunday Service at St. John’s Baptist Church, followed by a fantastic brunch at Glenwood’s. 🙏🏾🍽️

Grateful for the laughter, reflection, fellowship, and memories created along the way. Here’s to rebuilding with intention and moving forward together! 💕💚

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®’s nonpartisan strategy is built around one simple idea: 8-8-8.

✅ EDUCATE 8 people on their civic rights and how their vote works.
✅ MOBILIZE 8 people to get registered, including first-time voters and underrepresented communities.
✅ GET OUT THE VOTE for 8 more with a ride, a reminder, or an accountability check-in.
