Okay, ladies, not unexpectedly, our block has been cancelled for the game. We will get a full refund, but my contact said that due to the holiday weekend, it might not be until the end of next week before they get the $1000 back on my card. But, the day they do I will PayPal or FaceBook pay, or however you prefer refund what you paid me. Hopefully, we can try again- next year or for our 30th.... 😞

I just spoke to my contact at the ticket office. He said he would figure out if our tickets were still good later today & call me back. He said, if not, we could either get a full refund or a credit toward a game next season. I’ll post here as soon as I hear back.

Hey, y’all! I’m anxiously awaiting the University to make their decision on tickets. They have not yet. The tickets we have, as of now, are still good for Florida v. South Carolina on October 3. It’ll just be our home opener now, instead of homecoming. I still have my plane ticket & football ticket, and the planner in me is becoming a bit unhinged. But, it’s 2020, so what else is new? If the university bans fans & we get our money/tickets back, do people still want to meet up in Gainesville or is it just too sketchy/ scary right now? If our tickets are still good, how many would like to go through with this & how many would like to get their money back & stay home? No judgment from me either way. I’m personally very torn right now. If we opt to bail this time, what do you think about another Zoom get together this fall & plan for an in person reunion for, say, our 30 year reunion? Love y’all! 😘😇

For those P.C. '95s who were not on the call, I was telling y'all how you can get your Silver 25 year Pi Phi pins, if you are interested. If you go to www.pibetaphi.org then click on alumnae, then shop Pi Beta Phi, then jewelry, then anniversary, it is called the "Silver Arrow Society Recognition Pin." As of today- the Founders day in the year we were initiated, we can officially wear them. They are only $25 and Mother's Day is coming up... ;)

Tickets are booked & paid for!

My contact also said if some of you who were unsure now, decide you do want tickets before June (when individual tickets go on sale) you can still buy a ticket & he’ll try to get you as close as he can to our block. After June, you would have to buy tickets separately.

Those of you who did buy tickets- they are exactly $40 each. You can PayPal ([email protected]), Facebook pay me or send me a check in the mail (2721 Crosslands Drive, Garland, TX 75040).

I asked him to send me the tickets electronically, so I can email them to each of you. He said they will be sent to me in mid-June.

I am so excited to see as many of you as possible! It is so nice to have something to look forward to after this madness is all over!

Okay, ladies, I will be buying tickets for the following people: me 1*, Twigg 2, Ciccone 4, Rettig 2, Wellington 2*, Duran 2, Alberson 5 (including one for Muffy). * Wellington & I have both decided to buy 2 extra tickets, in case a sister who doesn’t know now wants to buy one from us later on. If this doesn’t happen, we will sell our extras. Have I missed anyone or does anyone else want to buy extras for sisters who may decide later to join and/or sell them closer to the time? If I don’t hear from you by 3:30pm, I will go ahead and purchase those 23 tickets and let you know the exact cost. You can pay me back through PayPal, Facebook pay, or an old fashioned check in the mail. 😉

I just got off the phone with Bryan from group tickets and they are still selling blocks for the fall; they are assuming everything will be back to normal by then. They will refund us if that changes. But, today still is the deadline to buy tickets! So, please RSVP on the event from this page if you want football tickets and comment under the event if you want more than 1. I cannot buy tickets for people who do not RSVP or put in writing that they are responsible for X # of tickets. So, if you’re “really sure” that your friend is going to, get them to RSVP or be prepared to buy their tickets for them. Please RSVP by 2pm today, so I can make our reservation by 3pm today. Thanks!! It’s exciting to have something to look forward to after all this time in our homes...

Okay, sisters, it is March. Homecoming football tickets are now on sale. If you want one please RSVP to the UF v. South Carolina football game event. I cannot get group tickets for just Shelly & I. If we do not have at least 10 sisters signed up by March 20, I will cancel the event. 😞
