TOMORROW: Banjo legend Béla Fleck returns with My Bluegrass Heart, a joyful homecoming to the music that shaped him. The 15-time GRAMMY winner leads an extraordinary lineup of all-star musicians (including UFPA favorite Michael Cleveland on the fiddle). This night goes far beyond a traditional string band show. It’s a rare chance to hear a master return to his roots, surrounded by the most technically gifted players in the genre. The electrifying energy of this performance will make you feel like part of a joyful, once-in-a-lifetime family jam session.

Give yourself an hour with nothing else on the schedule.

THE RESET brings sound-healing artist Davin Youngs to the Phillips Center this Sunday. Singing bowls, gongs, and vocals fill the room while you lie back and listen. You can choose a spot on the stage with a mat, or settle into a seat in the audience.

Béla Fleck is one of the only household names the banjo has ever produced. Here's a glimpse of him and Billy Strings playing from their new album "Live Heart: My Bluegrass Heart at the Ryman."

Fleck returns to the Phillips Center next week with My Bluegrass Heart, his first bluegrass tour in over two decades. The arrangements are intricate, the band is stacked with virtuosos, and the whole thing plays like a family jam session that happens to involve some of the finest musicians alive.

Some of the best moments of a season happen off the stage. Last week, we hosted the first arts education events of the 26|27 season. Fabiola Méndez and Bristol Lightning each spent time with UF students, performing, talking about their work, and answering questions.

Plenty more events like these to come this season!
