Yes, that’s right! All dual enrollment students have access to academic accomodations through the Disability Resource Center (DRC) if needed. 🧡💙

The DRC works to create an accessible campus community by identifying and addressing access barriers that may vary from course to course. Resources include academic and housing accommodations, accessibility consultations and appointments, and education and awareness initiatives.

If you currently experience documented learning barriers and would like to request academic accommodations for your dual enrollment courses, you’ll need to register with the Disability Resource Center.

Our UF Dual Enrollment team had the opportunity to meet with school counselors and administrators at two events in September and share exciting program updates! 🐊

At the Alachua County Public Schools Back to School Counselor Meeting, Allison shared information about the upcoming Spring 2027 application cycle and highlighted statistics from Alachua County students who have participated in the UF Dual Enrollment program!

William also represented UF Dual Enrollment at the OCPS DE Contacts Collaborative Convening, where he connected with Orange County Public Schools counselors and administrators. He shared program updates, discussed how OCPS students are performing in UF Dual Enrollment courses and participated in a Q&A to answer questions from attendees. The convening also provided an opportunity to learn more about how other Florida dual enrollment programs, including UCF and Valencia, operate.

We’re always excited for the opportunity to connect with our school partners and continue supporting counselors and students throughout the year! 🧡💙

Not everything is going to go according to plan. And that’s okay.

You learn. You grow. Life keeps moving, and so do you.

Keep going, twin. You got this. 🫶

When she’s not traveling with her family or mastering a new craft, she’s connecting with high schools across Florida! 🐊

Meet Sara, UF’s Associate Director of Enrollment and Admission Operations. She builds relationships with schools and school districts to help make UF Dual Enrollment opportunities possible for high school students across the state. Her goal is to help students take their next step toward college and feel supported along the way.

Sara’s advice to students? Take advantage of every opportunity you’re given! Dual Enrollment is a chance to challenge yourself, explore your interests and get a head start on your college journey. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, try something new and keep learning, growing and moving forward! 🧡💙
