NAMS family and friends, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. William Rosche on September 11, 2020, at the age of 54.
Bill grew up in Milwaukee, WI, and earned his B.A. in Biology from DePauw University in Greencastle, IN in 1988. He earned his Ph.D. in Biochemistry at Texas A&M University in 1996, and then went on to complete a post-doctoral fellowship at Boston University. He taught at the University of Tulsa before moving to New Jersey and joining the Biology program at Stockton in 2008. As a member of the Biology Faculty at Stockton, Bill taught Microbiology for nursing majors, Cells and Molecules, Genetics, and Molecular Microbiology.
While he focused his career on science, he was also passionate about music, and he played the Saxophone whenever he could. He loved his dog, Trapper, and he enjoyed baking for and going out for meals with his friends.
Bill loved to teach. When his health forced him to retire, one of the things he missed the most was teaching, and interacting with his students. He will be sadly missed.
Information to follow regarding funeral/memorial once the arrangements have been made.
