Under FERPA, Adelphi can't share a student's educational records without their authorization.

With the new Adelphi FERPA Management Tool students can securely grant parents and family members access in just a few steps.

👉To grant access, students will need to:

1️⃣Go to eCampus and select FERPA Management from the available services
2️⃣Select the graduation cap icon located in the top-right corner of the page
3️⃣Select “Add My First Connections” and choose “Add Connection”
4️⃣Enter the person’s email and choose their relationship to you
5️⃣Select the records you would like this person to have access to

👉How to update or approve a pending request:

1️⃣Select the pointer across from their name.
2️⃣You may edit which options you choose to allow them to access and make changes to their request
3️⃣Once ready, select “Grant Access”
Select the pointer across from the name of the person whose access you want to change or cancel
4️⃣Select the “Update Connection” button to save those changes
5️⃣How to cancel connections:

👉Select the “Cancel Connection” button
Students can change or cancel any access granted at any point in time. FERPA authorization only grants access to information; it does not grant the right to act on a student’s behalf.

👉Electronic FERPA authorization occurs 24-hours after the student grants a parent/family member access to their student records. Parents/families view student records directly through the Adelphi Family Hub.

👉The FERPA authorization will remain valid until rescinded by the student. Student FERPA authorizations will expire after 6 years.

⚠Undergraduate Students: If your Fall 2026 semester schedule currently includes fewer than 12 credits, you may not be considered a full-time student.

👉Being below full-time status can affect your financial aid eligibility.
👉Need help? Schedule a meeting with your academic advisor or the Office of Academic Services and Retention (OASR) to ensure you are making progress toward your degree.
👉The last day to add a class is Friday, September 4, 2026.

⚠ If you believe your Fall 2026 schedule is accurate and intentional, no further action is required. Students may choose to enroll in fewer than 12 credits for a variety of reasons, including, but not limited to final-semester credit needs, academic adjustments, course availability limits, or personal circumstances. However, it is important to understand that enrollment below full-time status may affect financial aid eligibility, visa compliance requirements, and student loan repayment terms.

👉 Enrollment Fee: $35

First Installment Payment Due Date: August 15, 2026, or upon enrollment
in the payment plan
✅Second Installment Payment Due Date: September 15
✅Third Installment Payment Due Date: October 15
✅Fourth Installment Payment Due Date: November 15
