First up, we have Megan Masilungan, our Community Outreach Officer, who is also heading the Food Recovery Initiative this year!

“Hi, my name is Megan and I’m currently a senior political science major. Besides LGS, I’m involved in Phi Mu, I’m the Public Relations officer of the Newman Club, and I work as a Commuter Assistant.
LGS has been one of the most transformative experiences of my Adelphi experience; it’s opened up many doors and I’ve met many people of diverse backgrounds and different majors from my own.”

Recap of this semester’s LGS Food Recovery Initaitve!🥗🥪🍗🍓🥑 Thank you to the for partnering with us❤️

From February-April we collected and donated:
-nearly 700 units of food surplus from Adelphi dining halls
-worth $2,426.09
-saved 103.4 CO2E
- & saved 86,532 gallons of water
