🇺🇸 25 Years Later, We Remember. 🇺🇸
Twenty-five years have passed, yet the memory of September 11, 2001 remains etched upon the heart of our nation.
Today, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® – Kappa Iota Omega Chapter pauses to honor the lives that were lost, the heroes who ran toward danger, the families who carried unimaginable grief, and all whose lives were forever changed.
We remember the courage shown in our darkest hours. We remember the compassion of strangers helping strangers. We remember how, in the midst of heartbreak, a nation found strength in unity.
On this solemn anniversary, may we each find a quiet moment to remember and reflect—to hold close the memory of those we lost, to honor those who served and sacrificed, and to keep in our hearts the families and communities forever touched by that day. May our remembrance inspire us to extend a little more kindness, compassion, and grace to one another.
May we never forget the names, the stories, the sacrifices, and the lives behind this solemn day.
