The Geneseo Student Managed Investment Fund will be having its first meeting of the semester tonight (2/10) at 7:00pm on zoom. The club invests and manages a portfolio of $425,000 of real money on behalf of Geneseo. This club provides a great opportunity to gain real world experience in investing and finance. The Student Managed Investment Fund (SMIF) will be having a meeting tonight on Zoom at 7:00 pm. Today's meeting will begin with an update from the accounting group, as well as 2 presentations from the economics group. Next, we will hear a performance review presentation from the technical trading group. Finally, we will be hearing full pitches on NextEra Energy (NEE) and Twilio (TWLO). Hey everyone,

The Student Managed Investment Fund (SMIF) will be having a meeting tonight on Zoom at 7:00 pm. Today's meeting will begin with quick updates from the economics and accounting groups. Next, to follow-up on last week's events with Constellation Brands, we will be hearing presentations about both Constellation (STZ) and Canopy Growth Corp. Good Morning Everyone,

The Student Managed Investment Fund (SMIF) will be having a meeting tonight on Zoom at 7:00 pm. Today's meeting will look like our "typical" Wednesday, beginning with updates from both the economics and accounting groups. Next, Kyler and Austin will be doing a presentation on investing themes for the future. Following this, we will be discussing how scheduling will work with pitches and different projects this semester. Finally, we will again break-out into our groups to begin getting teams involved in projects.

If anyone has not yet signed up for a group, or would like to change what group they are in, I have attached a link to the SMIF Group Sign-up google sheet. If you do not have access to it for some reason, either request it or just shoot me an email.
