Super proud of our brothers who were able to recharter the Alpha Mu (Penn State) chapter of Pi Kapp. They were able to share a uncommon opportunity with the national organization and brotherhood over fall break! They were even able to meet the national president, Jeremy Galvin.

I joined Pi Kapp because I knew that Pi Kapp’s values aligned with mine and would further help me grow as a member of the Geneseo community. My favorite memory was having to pick up one of the alumni outside my dorm at 5 am because he needed a place to sleep when he visited.

Alumnus, Brad Berry, Chapter Advisor, Victor Santiago, and alumnus/former Journey of Hope Pi Alpha, Noah Koven all in Washington DC today to welcome their brothers after their summer long bike ride across America!

Journey of Hope (JOH) was started in 1987, a decade after what would become the Ability Experience was created, when one Pi Kapp, Bruce Rogers vowed to bike across America. The next year, Pi Kappa Phi turned Rogers’ mission into the largest fundraising and awareness event of any fraternal entity. Both Victor and Noah have participated in this wonderful event, while Brad participated in Gear up Florida(GUF), a bike ride up the coast of Florida to raise money and awareness, last year! So proud of all the old and new Pi Alphas!

Today our Archon finished his trip with Build America (BAM)! BAM is a 6 week opportunity that brothers of Pi Kappa Phi from across America get to participate in. They build brotherhood while they promote and build accessible amenities for people with disabilities (Such as Wheelchair Ramps and Boardwalks)! He won top fundraiser of the 2019 season! So on his behalf thank you to everyone who helped him reach his goal!
