We thank you for your interest in the campaign and for your consideration in donating to the Gettysburg Fund. Though it will be bittersweet to leave the place that we called home for the past four years, we have high expectations for the future. Gettysburg College has provided us with the resources to develop into informed and capable adults, challenged us to better ourselves and inspired us to be
tter our communities. We encourage our fellow members of the Class of 2012 to make a lasting impression at Gettysburg College. Our relationship with Gettysburg College does not end after our Commencement in May 2012. We are connected to Gettysburg, and we will remain so long after our undergraduate experience comes to a close. After graduation we will enter a world filled with challenges and opportunities. Through experiences both within and outside of the classroom, our time at Gettysburg College has prepared us for what lies ahead. Many of these experiences were made possible through generous support from the College, and, in return, our support of the College will ensure that future Gettysburgians will have the resources necessary to build a remarkable college experience as we have. The Gettysburg Fund allows students to have 24-hour access to the library and participate in a variety of student activities, provides career development opportunities through research with engaged faculty and practical internships, and allows 75% of all students to receive some sort of financial aid. It is through the generous support of parents, faculty, staff, friends, alumni and Seniors that the Gettysburg Fund continues to be support these endeavors year after year. It is this type of support that allows our class, as well as past and future graduates, to lead successful lives. We’ve had an unforgettable four years here at Gettysburg College marked by the friends we’ve made, the many experiences we’ve had and the challenges we’ve overcome. We challenge you, the Class of 2012, to always stay connected to Gettysburg College and to support our alma mater by contributing to the Senior Class Gift Campaign. Sincerely,
Nick Redman and Allie Barrett
