Lyrics |
Faaslon ko takalluf hai hum se agar
Hum bhi be-bas nahin, be-sahaara nahin
Khud unhi ko pukaarenge hum door se
Raaste mein agar paaon thak jaayenge
Hum Madeene mein tanhaa nikal jaayenge
Aur galiyon mein qasdan bhatak jaayenge
Hum wahan jaa ke waapas nahin aayenge
Dhoondte dhoondte log thak jaayenge
Jaise hi sabz gumbad nazar aayega
Bandagi ka qareena badal jaayega
Sar jhukaane ki fursat milegi kise
Khud hi palkon se sajde tapak jaayenge
Naam-e-Aaqa jahaan bhi liya jaayega
Zikr unka jahaan bhi kiya jaayega
Noor hi noor seenon mein bhar jaayega
Saari mehfil mein jalwe lapak jaayenge
Ae Madeene ke zaair, Khuda ke liye
Daastaan-e-safar mujh ko yun mat suna
Baat barh jaayegi, dil tadap jaayega
Mere mohtaaj aansoo chhalak jaayenge

Shaykh Abdal Hakim Murad: A Success Story: Eid al-Fitr Sermon: Cambridge Central Mosque: March 20,2026
Inspiring Insightful Khutba, Please Share

This Eid khutbah by Shaykh Abdal Hakim Murad reflects on one of the central deceptions of our age: the pursuit of wealth and status as measures of success.
Drawing on Qur’anic guidance and Prophetic teaching, he reminds us that love of dunya, particularly wealth and recognition, corrodes the heart, while true richness lies in contentment, meaning, and knowledge of Allah. What appears as success in this world may, in reality, hold no value in the Hereafter.
The khutbah traces Ramadan as a spiritual ascent – from ṣabr (patience) to riḍā (contentment) – where the believer not only endures, but comes to love what Allah has decreed. This transformation is the essence of faith.
Addressing the climate of Islamophobia, Shaykh Abdal Hakim Murad situates present-day hostility within a timeless pattern: truth has always been resisted. The Prophet ﷺ himself endured rejection, yet remained unmoved by the desire for approval, seeking only the pleasure of Allah.
In contrast to a world unsettled by greed, anxiety, and loss of meaning, the enduring faith of the Ummah stands as a quiet but profound success, rooted not in dominance, but in continuity, worship, and certainty in the Divine.

Laylat al-Qadr:The Path to Allah – Abdal Hakim Murad: Ramadan 2026/ 1447
Inspiring Talk Please Share
On the nights of Ramadan, believers seek the mercy of Laylat al-Qadr – the Night of Power, a night described in the Qur’an as better than a thousand months.

In this profound reflection, Shaykh Abdal Hakim Murad speaks about the mystery of the Qur’an, the spiritual “exhalations” of divine mercy that appear at certain times and places, and the way a believer prepares their heart to receive them.
Drawing on Qur’anic verses, prophetic teachings, and stories from the tradition, he reminds us that while we cannot force divine grace, we can place ourselves where it is most likely to fall – through prayer, remembrance, and attachment to the Qur’an.
Just as rain falls where Allah wills, the believer seeks to stand where the rain of mercy descends.
May Allah allow us to witness Laylat al-Qadr and accept our worship.

This talk was delivered at Cambridge Central Mosque on 27 Ramadan 1447 / Sunday 15 March 2026.

Shaykh Abdal Hakim Murad reflects on the delicate balance between fear and hope in the life of the believer. Drawing on Imam al-Ghazali’s spiritual psychology, he reminds us that while fear restrains us, hope draws us closer to Allah through love. In a world filled with anxiety and uncertainty, the believer is called to cultivate a hopeful heart — trusting in divine mercy while striving for balance and sincerity in worship.

Shaykh Abdal Hakim Murad: Why do Muslims fast in Ramadan?-Cambridge Central Mosque- Feb 20,2026

Uplifting & Motivating Friday Sermon: Please share

n this Ramadan khutbah, Shaykh Abdal Hakim Murad reflects on the true purpose of fasting in Islam. Ramadan is more than abstaining from food and drink; it is a sacred training of the heart. Through fasting, we learn taqwa – a living awareness of Allah, a strengthening of self-control, and a discipline over the ego.

In a world marked by excess and moral confusion, Ramadan restores balance. Hunger softens the heart. Restraint strengthens character. The noise of desire quietens, making space for the Qur’an — revealed in Ramadan as guidance, mercy and clarity for humanity.
Fasting is prescribed so that we may rediscover who we are meant to be: people of modesty, vigilance and inward strength. In remembering Allah, the heart finds peace.
May this Ramadan be a month of renewal, reflection and sincere return.
