ASNE will be having its next meeting, spring elections, and HOLIDAY PARTY this Friday, Dec 5, at 230 pm. Location tba. There will be cookies and snacks and pizza...possibly some buffalo chicken dip....and of course holiday music.

The following positions are still open. This is a great way to boost your resume, and get your name out there!

Webmaster/PR chair (updates facebook and website)
Secretary (takes notes at the meeting, oversees attendance, sends club emails)
Student Government Representatives (attend SGA meetings twice a month)

All candidates will get 2 minutes to speak before voting if interested. Elections will start at 3. Please email Gina if you are interested in running. If you can not attend and are interested in running for one of the above positions, please email me and we will set up an absentee ballot!

Don't forget NREIP internships are still open! Visit http://nreip.asee.org/ to apply. Due December 19th! A naval representative will be attending this meeting and can take any questions you may have.

The Engineering Olympics are happening THIS SATURDAY May 3rd on the Rowan Green from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm! This is a great opportunity to relax at the end of the semester. There's going to be a DJ, face painting, corn hole, a barbecue lunch, kan jam, 50/50 raffle, give-a-ways, free Monster Energy Drinks, and trivia. Come out and cheer for your favorite engineering club (ASNE of course)! This event was sponsored by ASNE Delaware Valley and Monster Energy Drink.

We will be having an ASNE general meeting this Friday, 2/7 at 2pm in Rowan Hall room 102. The E-board has been doing a lot of planning and are looking forward to seeing you there. Food will be served!

There seems to be a lot of organization meetings today all around 2pm -- If you can't make 2pm, you can still come! The presentation is at 2, but resume reviewing starts at 3pm. So come eat some free pizza in room 340 after your other meetings!

This weekend is ASNE CHAMPS! Feel free to sleep in then come by Rowan hall from 11:30-1:15 to help us with this great service project that benefits underprivileged youth with a fun engaging lesson in engineering. We will be building tinfoil boats!

If you are free during that time, please stop by - we need at least half of the club to be there for it to count as a service project. If you can't make it for the whole time, don't worry about it. Let us know if you can make it by emailing Gina Tierno at [email protected].

This Friday from 12-2 (location TBD) Brian Fitzpatrick, a top engineer at the Navy working on superconducting materials, will be speaking to us about his work. It's a great opportunity and you are all encouraged to attend!
