MWU-College of Pharmacy-Glendale PGY2 Geriatric and academic residency Midwestern University College of Pharmacy-Glendale offers two post-graduate year two (PGY2) geriatri Residents are on campus, at minimum, every Friday.

PGY2 in Geriatrics & Academia
• Provide inpatient and/or outpatient geriatric care
• Serve as a practitioner role mode and teacher for Pharm.D. students
• Participate as an active faculty member on campus
• Engage in service and advocacy activities
• Become a certified geriatric pharmacotherapy practitioner
This unique PGY2 program is focused on geriatric pharmacy practice and resident immersion i

n academia. The program offers diverse practice settings allowing residents the flexibility to choose an inpatient or outpatient area of focus for geriatric patient care experiences within Banner Health. Residents are faculty members providing didactic lectures, participating in academia activities, and precepting students. During the post-Midyear interview process, we offer the option of e-interviewing (example: Skype). Please see our PPS description or email for more info.
