Dr. Mark Duplissis was a faithful and cheerful servant of Christ at ACU. As the leader of our adult education program, he was instrumental in founding initiatives that continue to bless our community today. He was deeply loved by his colleagues and was a natural encourager who delighted in talking with others and drawing them into deeper, more meaningful relationships. He also served on the hospitality committee, where he loved bringing faculty and students his best recipes and homemade creations.

Mark was also an exceptional educator with a particular passion for preparing and encouraging future teachers. His students loved learning from him, not only because of the wisdom he shared, but because of the time and care he invested in them. He mentored and inspired his students as they prepared for their own careers in education, leaving a lasting influence that will continue in classrooms for years to come.

🇺🇸 Happy Independence Day!

Today we celebrate the enduring freedoms that have shaped our nation and reflect on the principles upon which America was founded 250 years ago.

Arizona Christian University is one of the few colleges in the nation to explicitly affirm in its mission a commitment to the values that have shaped Western civilization. As the nation's premier biblical worldview university, we are committed to educating and equipping students to influence culture with biblical truth. That commitment includes cultivating a deep appreciation for the Constitution, the rule of law, judicial restraint, religious liberty, limited government, and the God-given rights that have fostered human flourishing and freedom for generations.

As we gather with family and friends this Fourth of July, may we reflect with gratitude on the blessings of liberty and the responsibility to steward them with wisdom, integrity, and faith.
