Hey, Firestorm Fam! We’re kicking off our Summer Spotlight series, giving you a behind-the-scenes look at how our students are growing, learning, and gaining real-world experience this summer.🔥

First up is senior biology major, Levi Felts! Levi is interning at Casa Querencia Animal Health Center, where he is assisting with surgeries, equine exams, and small animal treatments. Through this hands-on experience, he is building valuable skills such as reading horse body language for safer, more effective care and deepening his understanding of equine and bovine anatomy.

We are so excited to announce the expansion of our partnership with Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS)!

Through this expanded partnership, ACU Biblical and Theological Studies students will graduate with a Certificate in Christian Studies, complete 15 credit hours of coursework taught by DTS professors during their senior year, receive ministry training, and build stronger connections with local churches.

Arizona Christian University is honored to be a national sponsor and ministry partner of America Reads the Bible—a powerful, nationwide proclamation of God’s Word, echoing the moment when Ezra read the Law before the people of Israel.

This year’s event brings together influential leaders from across the country, including President Trump, Speaker Mike Johnson, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and prominent Christian voices from around the nation.

ACU’s very own President Munsil will be reading Isaiah 7–9 tomorrow evening, Wednesday, April 22, from 8:45–9 PM EST (5:45–6 PM MST).

Additionally, ACU fellow Tim Goeglin was featured on Monday morning, with his reading available for replay.
ACU is proud to take part in this historic witness, boldly declaring the Word of God with confidence that “it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose” (Isaiah 55:11).

All sessions will be streamed live on the Great American Pure Flix website, with replays available shortly after each broadcast.

What an amazing night! 🤩

Last week, we had the privilege of honoring Dr. George Barna with the Daniel Award, celebrating the enduring impact of his research. We are grateful to have him at ACU, where he equips students with a biblical worldview through intentional discipleship, preparing them to go out and transform culture with truth for the glory of God.

During the award ceremony, President Len Munsil shared that we are just $3 million away from reaching our $25 million capital campaign goal. This final $3 million will go directly toward student scholarships, making it possible for more students to receive a biblical worldview education, something truly unique in Christian higher education.

Even more exciting: gifts will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $500,000, through June 30, thanks to a generous donor.

This is a moment to invest in the next generation of leaders who will influence culture with wisdom, courage, and faith. According to Dr. Barna’s research, ACU graduates are 28 times more likely than their peers to hold a biblical worldview by the time they earn their degree.

Today, we remember the “silence.” We remember that just because we aren’t hearing anything does not mean that He’s not working.

He went to the grave, He went to hell for us to defeat sin and death. Thank you Jesus that the story doesn’t end on Saturday, and that our hope lies in what happens tomorrow!

On this day, we are shown an extravagant act of worship by Mary of Bethany, who anoints Jesus’ feet with very costly perfume, to the dismay of the disciples as they saw the act as “a waste” of their finances. However, we can be reminded from this passage that Jesus is the only One worthy of the most extravagant acts of worship. Yes, it is good to take care of the poor, but we cannot serve well unless we worship Christ first, wholeheartedly.

We pray that as you go about your lives today, and every day, that you would not only remember the “what”, but more importantly, the “why” for the things you do- and that is Jesus!
