The shorts feature art collector Enrique Serrato, whose collection is currently on view in the Citrus College Art Gallery, as well as another prominent collector of Chicano art, Cheech Marin, whose collection is featured in the Cheech Marin Center for Chicano Art & Culture in Riverside.

Citrus College will once again serve as an LA County Vote Center for the upcoming general election.

Located in Hayden Hall, the vote center will host early voting from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31; Sunday, Nov. 1; and Monday, Nov. 2. For Election Day on Tuesday, Nov. 3, the center will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Free voter parking will be available in marked stalls in the S8 parking lot located off of Barranca Avenue north of Citrus College Stadium. The designated stalls will be located along the northwest corner of the parking lot.

In addition to hosting in-person voting, the center will also accept vote-by-mail ballots. Voters who wish to drop off their vote-by-mail ballots can do so between Oct. 31 and Nov. 3.

As the 2026 general election draws near, Citrus College wants to remind you to register to vote and vote in the Nov. 3 election.

NOTE: The civic and election information provided below applies to Los Angeles County. Election information varies by county.

The Citrus College Basic Needs program is excited to host its annual food drive, "Scare Away Hunger," from Monday, Oct. 12, through Friday, Oct. 30. Donations should be dropped off between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday in the Campus Center (CC 106).

All members of the campus community are invited to contribute nonperishable food items to the Citrus College Food Pantry to help students in need. Your donations will make a significant impact toward our efforts to address food insecurity. Acceptable items include canned goods, pasta, rice and other shelf-stable foods that are in sealed packages and not expired.

Together, we can scare away hunger and support our students in need. Thank you for your generosity!

In celebration of Latino/a/e Heritage Month, the Citrus College Visual Arts and Ethnic Studies programs are hosting a documentary screening about Mexican American artist and pioneer of the Chicano art movement, Carlos Almaraz.
