Arcadia University Honors Program

Arcadia University Honors Program Welcome Arcadia students! The Honors Council is here to provide all students with academic and extra

07/06/2021

This is for all our new first year students and new transfers!
We have a great opportunity for you!
You can choose to live on an Honors Affinity Floor. What does that mean?
- Most of your floormates and your roommate will be an Honors Student.
- Your Resident Advisor is the amazing Jeremy Harmon, who is also the Honors President of Mentoring. We may be biased, but we think he is the absolute best!
-You will have access to some special opportunities and programming that are aligned to parts of our Honors mission, specifically creating connection, inclusivity and community.
-You will have voice on the floor to make decisions and craft the experience together with your other Honors floormates.
-You will have a special Honors lounge on your floor.
-The Honors wider community is made up of over 170 truly awesome students and more opportunities than I can easily fit in this message. We are known for our community and students supporting students. This will be even deeper on your floor.

We hope you will consider choosing Honors Affinity Housing, which will be located on the first floor of Kistler Hall. Please know there are limited spaces. Please respond timely.
If you want to take advantage of this special opportunity, please fill out this form by July 13th.

We are considering a new initiative - a TV shows (late [k]night television format). We would like student input before we make a decision whether to proceed with the idea. If you want to provide feedback, if you have concerns about the idea, or if you might want to be directly involved, please join the focus group for this idea. All interested persons must fill out the survey no later than July 24th. Thanks!

Although we have been away from campus for a few months, members of our program are still hard at work! We are happy to share the first online installment of our Adulting 101 series. Adulting 101 is an Honors’ Program Committee focused on helping college students to succeed in the non-academic aspects of college life. Two members of our program, Rebekah and Erin, created this video to share some simple and useful self defense techniques.
